Our Founder’s Journey
Sean’s journey starts in Carol City, a tough neighborhood where determination and perseverance are born. He grew up with a single mother and he took up sports and martial arts early on. In spite of a tough childhood, Sean was touched by the community’s generosity and the unconditional care of his family. This pushed him into a place where he’d already been eager to make a difference in people’s lives.
From Adversity to Achievement
Sean’s education and career trajectory are both awe inspiring. High-school dropout turned medical student, he did well academically, graduating with his GED at 27 and then graduating first in both the firefighter academy and as an EMT paramedic school. He proceeded into his undergraduate studies in Neuroscience, obtained a BS, then a MS in the same major. Sean, took the MCAT and entered Medical School. Sean passed his board USMLE exams, but instead of a medical residency, Sean concentrated on entrepreneurship and wanted to change lives beyond medicine.
